As someone that's stayed away from Apple all these years until this year I do regret that decision. Yes I've got a MacBook Pro and an iPad both of which I love because they just work and for the most part work the way I envisage they should work (sure Mac OS has some "features" I don't like but hey so does Windows and I learned to live with them).
So when Steve Jobs states "We still have a few surprises left for the remainder of this calendar year" it makes you wonder how many people who leave Santa a mince pie and a sherry this year will be getting an Apple in their stocking and not one you can eat.
